The city basically shuts down, and we all get to drink and celebrate the best baseball team ever. We love the parade, we love the parties, and we love The Reds.

2. Flying Pig Marathon
Sure, maybe we aren’t all running a full marathon when the Flying Pig rolls around, but there’s something pretty cool about the race and all the celebrating that happens afterwards.
3. Taste Of Cincinnati
What’s that? Taste of Cincinnati is the longest running culinary arts festival in America? And all the food and drinks there are absolutely delicious? Yeah, we love Taste of Cincinnati.

This is a newer tradition for Cincinnati, but it’s quickly becoming one of our favorite days of the year. Getting food from one of our favorite restaurants in OTR, then heading to Washington Park for this stunning show on the exterior of Cincinnati Music Hall makes for the perfect day.
5. Oktoberfest Zinzinnati
It’s the largest Oktoberfest in America, so basically the only place you’re going to get a better celebration is in Germany. Brats, German beer, Dirndls and Lederhosen, what more do you need?
6. WEBN Fireworks
It’s one of the biggest firework shows in the Midwest, and there are tons of places to watch the beautiful show from. Definitely a Cincinnati favorite.

7. Zoo Babies
Don’t even try to act like you’re too cool for Zoo Babies at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. We all love seeing those cute little animals every year.

8. Glier’s Goettafest
We love goetta in Cincinnati, (seriously, just ask any of us,) so of course we spend four days celebrating this delicious Cincinnati food. Goetta pizza, goetta sushi, fried goetta balls… we want it all.
9. Krohn Conservatory Butterfly Show
It’s kind of amazing to see thousands of butterflies flying around that greenhouse, don’t you think?

10. Over The Rhine Biergarten At Findlay Market
Honestly, who doesn’t look forward to doing their grocery shopping and getting some local beer on the weekends every year from May to October?

11. National Ice Cream Day At Graeter’s
We look forward to getting our favorite ice cream for less that $1.50 every year. Seriously, that day can’t come soon enough.

Of course we’re ok with crossing the river to Kentucky for another excuse to eat, drink, celebrate our German heritage. Why wouldn’t we be?
13. Bunbury Music Festival
A music festival that brings big name bands to Cincinnati, and also highlights local favorites. Yeah, we definitely love having Bunbury Music Festival here.
14. Fountain Square Ice Rink
If skating at Fountain Square in the winter isn’t one of your yearly traditions, it needs to be.
